And it's goodnight from Graham....
Last Saturday's gig at the Beauty of Bath was Graham Covus' swan song.. Graham is leaving the band after a solid 6 years of wonderful working together. The pressures of being lead guitar for 2 pretty full-on bands, plus promotion in the 'day job' has meant something had to give! We all wish Graham all the best for the future. You never know, as he leaves our Get Carter family, perhaps his real wife and kids will see him sometime!! ....and it's hello to Graham!
INCREDIBLY, Get Carter's new guitarist is also called Graham. Some say that the name was part of the Person Specification for the role! In fact, our new Graham Newton prefers to be known by his nickname, 'Fig'! Get Carter's new line up played its first gig at one of our regular venues, The Old House at Home, Queenborough on Sunday. Do come along to a gig and hear him play sometime soon!

What a brilliant summer festival season - we can't believe it's already drawing to a close... Thank you to everyone who came to support the band... perhaps you can spot yourselves on the 'view from the stage' (taken on the Saturday)...We're looking forward to next year already! |
